Which industries will define the 2020s?
On Tuesday 20 October Legal Cheek is partnering with Taylor Wessing to hold a virtual student event focusing on three key sectors – tech, life sciences and private wealth – that are being widely tipped to drive the recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The firm is a leader in these areas. Taylor Wessing’s Technology, Media & Communications team acts for companies ranging from start-ups to unicorns, having advised many of the early pioneers of Silicon Valley who have since become global leaders. Its Life Sciences & Healthcare group represents some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies and healthcare providers. And the firm’s private wealth practice is a go-to for many ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices, global property investors, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and owners of private equity houses, hedge funds and other financial services companies.
Lawyers from each of these sectors will join a Legal Cheek journalist for a virtual panel discussion, where they will discuss their work and the opportunities they anticipate over the years ahead. They will also reflect on their career journeys and advise students on how they can follow a similar path.
After the panel discussion there will be virtual networking with the speakers, lawyers from the firm’s other specialisms, trainees and members of the Taylor Wessing graduate recruitment team.
